This role focuses on push-in classroom support across both Math and ELA, helping students stay engaged, strengthen foundational skills, and access instruction more effectively throughout the school day.

What You’ll Do

As a Simply Ed Elementary Math & ELA Teacher’s Assistant, you will:

Provide push-in classroom support during Math and ELA instruction.
Support teachers in delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons.
Offer one-on-one and small group academic support to students.
Reinforce foundational math skills, reading comprehension, writing development, and vocabulary growth.
Help manage classroom routines and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Assist with organizing materials and preparing instructional resources.
Monitor student progress and share observations with teachers and staff.
Collaborate with educators to meet student learning needs.
Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.

Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Able to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
Cleared (or eligible for clearance) through DOE PETS background check and fingerprinting.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
