What You’ll Do

As a Simply Ed Middle School Math Teacher’s Assistant, you will:

Provide push-in classroom support for middle school math instruction.
Support teachers in delivering engaging math lessons and activities.
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students who need extra support.
Help manage classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and share observations with teachers.
Follow the school’s dress code (no jeans).
Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are:

Fluent in both Spanish and English (required for this role).
Passionate about supporting students in math.
Reliable, professional, and committed to showing up every day.
Strong communicators and collaborative team players.
Experienced with children (formally or informally) — experience in schools preferred, but training is provided.
Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, or a related field.
Cleared (or eligible for clearance) through DOE PETS background check and fingerprinting.

Can you commit to the full schedule of this position (October 27, 2025 – January 30, 2026. 3 days per week (excluding Wednesdays), 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)?*

This role requires you to be equally fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to clearly explain middle school math concepts (including correct terminology) in both languages. Are you fully bilingual and able to explain math in both English and Spanish?*
