This role focuses on push-in classroom support during Math instruction, helping students strengthen foundational skills, build confidence in problem-solving, and stay engaged throughout the school day.

What You’ll Do

As a Simply Ed 6th-8th Grade Math Teacher’s Assistant, you will:

Provide push-in classroom support during Math instruction.
Support teachers in delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons.
Offer one-on-one and small group academic support to students.
Reinforce foundational math skills, problem-solving strategies, and conceptual understanding.
Help manage classroom routines and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Assist with organizing materials and preparing instructional resources.
Monitor student progress and share observations with teachers and staff.
Collaborate with educators to meet student learning needs.
Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.

Experienced with children (formally or informally) — school experience preferred, but training is provided.
Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, or a related field.
Able to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
Cleared (or eligible for clearance) through DOE PETS background check and fingerprinting.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
